chem spa tmr on KINETICS

I think it'll be measuring the rate of rxn through production of gas.

add a solid (carbonate?) to an acid and cap the conical flask with the rubber bung attached to a tube which goes to some water body then you count the number of bubbles per minute.

the set up will obviously be flawed with NO frictionless gas syringe, stuff stuck to the side of the conical flask so the mass of reactant won't be accurate, and... the rubber bung might not be airtight!

Revision:

some water enters the rubber tubing before the experiment start
solution: use frictionless gas syringe

no. of bubbles counted not accurate because some bubbles will still be moving up the burette after one minute is up and will not be counted
solution: use frictionless gas syringe

CO2 dissolves in water
solution: use a frictionless gas syringe

CO2 escapes because you can't but the rubber bung on immediately.
solution: use a round bottomed flask (3-necked) with the carbonate inside, use dropping funnel to introduce acid

carbonate stuck on sides of conical flask
solutin: use a funnel to introduce carbonate into flask and measure the difference in mass b4 and after to find the mass of carbonate?
